Commitment

Accessibility

We want the Hike Scotland website and our trips to be as welcoming and usable as possible. This page explains where we are and how to contact us with feedback.

On the web

We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. The site uses semantic HTML, clear focus states, sufficient colour contrast, and works with screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Images include descriptive alt text. Motion can be reduced through your operating system's reduce-motion setting.

On the trail

Most of our excursions take place in rugged terrain that is not wheelchair accessible. We offer lower-level walks and bespoke trips for groups with different mobility needs — please contact us to discuss what's possible.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or want to ask about a trip, email contact@hikescotland.com. We aim to respond within five working days.
